You will be part of Hitachi Energy Cooling Systems business unit in Landskrona. We have a global responsibility for the development and manufacture of cooling systems for Power Electronic applications and other applications that require water cooling systems with high reliability and availability. Our cooling systems contribute to a safe and reliable operation where the customer and the environment are in focus.
As a Procurement Manager you will be operating with the supply of goods for projects and products in a profitable way. At the same time keeping an eye over the whole process, securing the results being delivered on time with high quality and the right price. You will build up your own team from strategic SCM and Buyers for the projects to succeed. The purchase organization today consist of seven individuals with different backgrounds and experiences, divided into two separate groups. You as Procurement Manager will be responsible to merge them into one even stronger collaborative team as well as recruiting further competent people. You will be part of Cooling Systems management team.
Your responsibilities
Manage, support, and develop your team in a coaching and inspiring way.
Take responsibility for the health and safety of your team, be a strong listener and people person.
Select, qualify, and classify suppliers, handle strategic supply for projects and products.
Monitor and develop onboarded suppliers.
Secure deliveries and cost with supplier agreements.
Manage operative buying and inbound logistics, which requires communication with internal and external networks.
Carry out frequent communication, reporting, exchange of knowledge and adoption of new directives from the European SCM community.
Find the best solutions while keeping an eye on the budget.
Your background
You have at least some years of experience as a manager or leader.
High competence in procurement with at least 5 years of experience.
You like to work with people, and you are people-oriented.
Successful background in forming and leading teams.
Proficiency in English and Swedish, both writing and speaking.
German language is considered a great plus.
