This role involves heading up a team of procurement specialists in ABB Motion Service in Sweden. You will have full responsibility of the local division supply chain management function and a line management responsibility of the supply chain team (50%). implementing effective sourcing strategies (50%), to ensure that suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements.


You will drive excellence in the execution of purchasing and logistics strategies that aid the business by optimizing costs, quality and reliability of suppliers and supplied products.
Your responsibilities
Heading the planning and tracking of procurement activities, cost, budgets, emerging country spending and savings forecasts
Overseeing buying activities to ensure that buyers minimize risk by buying in accordance with procedures and ABB guidelines
Leveraging category teams strategy to ensure appropriate supplier selection
Monitoring internal and supplier performance, quality and development actions while resolving issues related to costs, quality and delivery
Ensuring (with help from HR) that the Procurement department is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed while guiding, motivating and developing less experienced colleagues in line with succession planning

Your background
2 years of experience in procurement, working as procurement specialist or manager with service or electronics
Demonstrated experience working with enterprise resource planning and standard operating procedures
Knowledge of SAP, office and QlikView
Demonstrated leadership skills, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach
Fluent in Swedish and English
