Procurement Manager Alufoil

In this role, you will report to the Director Global Procurement Foil & Ink. You will be based in Lund, Sweden, and spend a relevant part of your time traveling to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
What you will do
Contribute to develop and execute the global alufoil strategy
Prepare and lead key supplier negotiations
Implement and execute the respective contracts securing engagement to deliver our key strategic 2030 goals including fit-for-purpose supply of responsibility, sourced aluminium foil at competitive cost, agile supply, consistent quality over time, 100% ASI certified and 50% greenhouse gas emissions reductions across the supply base by 2030.
Manage supply base through regular, multi-stakeholder top-to-top supplier reviews
Assess and manage supply and responsible sourcing risks
Drive cross-functional partnerships & align internal and external stakeholders
Develop and manage potential new supplier relationships



This position is preferably located in Lund but for the right candidate we are open to other locations, with a local contract set-up.
Who you are
As a person, you are action-driven with a high level of commitment. You have demonstrated excellent communication skills and have a proven ability to manage internal and external relationships in a cooperative, diplomatic and successful manner. You have a strong drive for results with hands on experience of executing changes in a global environment. You have the ability to deal with ambiguity & continuous change in terms of work scope and challenges identified.


You possess a university background within business management, engineering or similar and have minimum 5 years’ experience working in the paper & board industry, in the packaging or consumer-goods industry.


You have worked in an international and complex environment managing long-term strategic supplier relationships. You have a minimum of 5-7 years of proven experience within strategic sourcing, including negotiations at executive level, capturing value in terms of supply assurance, quality, agility, pricing, sustainability and supplier-driven innovation. Good business acumen will be needed. A very good command of English, both written and oral is required.
