Procurement Managers

Kemetyl is a car care and chemicals company, offering car care, disinfectants, household and industrial chemicals. Kemetyl, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, is owned 50/50 by Norwegian industrial group Pemco and Swedish private equity firm Segulah. The Kemetyl Group Procurement function is changing focus to strategic and tactical procurement. A new structured way of working will be introduced and cross functional category teams to manage all major spend categories will be set up. Therefore we need to recruit two (2) new Procurement Managers that will lead a number of cross functional category team within the areas of chemical solvents, energy and transportation. As Procurement Manager you are part of the Kemetyl Group Procurement team responsible for the group procurement of direct & indirect materials and services. Procurement Manager Chemical Solvents * Responsible for procurement of chemicals and lead the solvent category team * Responsibility for a team of Procurement Coordinators * Develop and implement procurement strategies within the solvents category * Drive procurement projects, run tender process and negotiate contracts * Take responsibility that agreed changes are implemented and that saving targets within the categories are reached * Communication of strategies and activities within the Kemetyl group * Maintain and develop working relationship with both internal customers and suppliers within the solvents supply base * The position will report to the Group Procurement Director and will be based at the Jordbro office (20km south of Stockholm) Procurement Manager Chemical Solvents & Procurement Sweden * Responsible for procurement of chemicals and lead the solvent category team (approx. 70%) * Lead tactical procurement activities for the Swedish organization and other group managed categories (approx. 30%) * Develop and implement procurement strategies within the solvents category * Drive procurement projects, run tender process and negotiate contracts * Take responsibility that agreed changes are implemented and that saving targets within the categories are reached * Communication of strategies and activities within the Kemetyl group * Maintain and develop working relationship with both internal customers and suppliers within the solvents supply base * The position will report to the Group Procurement Director and will be based at the Jordbro office (20km south of Stockholm) Education, Work experience and personal abilities for above positions *High level technical or commercial academic degree or other equivalent procurement education *At least 3 years relevant strategic/tactical procurement experience in an industrial environment *Experience in driving category teams and working according to a structured procurement process *Documented negotiation skills in an international environment and contract management knowledge *Result driven and have high self motivation *Skill and mind set to drive changes in an decentralized organization *You are customer focused, analytical, proactive, driving and have good communication skills *Excellent computer skills in MS Office, ERP and purchasing system(s) *Fluent in English, Swedish and good knowledge of one additional major language *This position requires travelling 30-40 days per ye
