The European Spallation Source (ESS) will be a multi-disciplinary, large-scale research infrastructure based on the world's most powerful neutron source. ESS will provide scientists with unique and powerful neutron scattering instruments for the study of a large range of materials - from polymers and pharmaceuticals to membranes and molecules. The ESS project is partnered by 16 European countries, and hosted by Sweden and Denmark. The ESS will be built in Lund, Sweden, by a collaboration of European scientists and engineers. ESS is planned to produce the first neutrons by 2019. ESS AB is a public limited company, currently owned by the Swedish Government. ESS AB is in charge of planning, projecting, financing, constructing, owning and operating the ESS. ESS AB is currently recruiting highly skilled and motivated scientists and engineers for the three year Pre-Construction Phase. Description of taskResponsible for administration and purchase of larger procurements of services and goods.Independently administrate and process procurements and larger framework agreeements according to the ESS procurement process.Provide internal support and guidance to the organisation regarding the application of the ESS procurement process.QualificationsEssential:At least five years of experience as a senior procurement officer in large-scale projects.At least five years of experience from procurement of complex and advanced procurements.At least two years experience from public procurement including interpretations of the Public Procurement act.At least 3 years relevant university degree within Finance, Law or equivalent.Certified training in EU-law and antitrust law.Good knowledge in the Office-package or similar.[Independent, thorough, responsible and service-minded.Desirable:Experience from working in an international private company/group.Experience from building up processes, guidelines etc.Experience from working in a fast growing organisation. Experience of working in an international environment is essential. Excellent oral and written English skills are a prerequisite; knowledge of other European languages would be an advantage.
