As our Procurement Project Leader, you will have a key role in Car Projects and Carline Capacity Increase Requests. The Procurement Project Leader (PPL) is part of the cross-functional project with the purpose to drive procurement interests and procurement deliveries!
What you’ll do
As a PPL you will be representing Procurement in Car Projects and Capacity Increase Requests. You will be working closely with the Global Procurement community (mainly DM purchasing and Supplier Quality Management) as well as other key stakeholders (e.g. R&D, Manufacturing, Capacity Management, SCM, and Finance)
You will
• secure Procurement interests and requirements towards external stakeholders.
• secure Procurement input to investigations and decisions.
• drive and report Procurement deliverables (e.g. sourcing, orders, quality, and capacity assurance), status, and risks.
• participate in the development of related working methods and continuous improvement projects.
Do you fit the profile?
You are a person with Strong Project Management and Leadership skills, preferably also with experience in the Volvo Cars Product development process. You are educated to a university level and/or have long experience in project work.
The ability to lead and motivate people to achieve common goals in addition to being very good at communicating and having analyzing skills is a crucial ability in this role.
Being result-oriented, and able to show drive and creativity is also very important.
