UPS is now looking for the next Procurement Specialist.

The main focus of this position is to identify saving potentials in regards to sourcing and the subsequent planning, preparation and execution of sourcing events.This includes communication to stakeholders and the analysis of financial data and review of received offers from potential suppliers.Furthermore the Proceurement Specialist has a key function regarding implementation and control of “Segregation of Duties” and “Procure to Pay” principles.

 The procurement function strives to support the local activities in terms of overall procurement such as cost saving initiatives strategic or tactical sourcing initiatives in the Nordics. He/She is the contact person and negotiates both with the department and the vendor.

 The procurement representative reports to local F&A Management with a dotted reporting line to the Region Procure to Pay group. She/he is first point of contact in all matters related to procurement. Both for activities and questions.

The procurement specialist handle with the following matters:

 1.    Identification of saving opportunities

 2.    Supplier analysis and control

 3.    Negotiation, Awarding and Contracting

 4.    Annual procurement plan

 5.    Procurement Reporting
