We are looking for someone who will play an important role to link the operations and category sourcing functions within the company to secure the long-term strategic objectives. In the role as Site Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for purchasing materials used in the production. You will work in close cooperation to the assembly on site and your main categories will be in Cylinders, Hydraulics, Plastics and others. You will have close cooperation with cross-functional projects in Z-lyften to meet our demand for quality, delivery, cost and sustainability.
Are you interested to play an important role in monitoring and developing the supplier performance, whilst ensuring flexibility and logistics agreement are monitored and up to date and participate in commercial negotiations and design to cost activities as well as new product development? As a Site Procurement Specialist, your main responsibility is to drive local procurement activities to minimize the total acquisition cost.
This position is located in Bispgarden, Sweden and you will report to Oscar Soderlund, Procurement Manager. This is a temporary position for one year with the possibility of extension.
Your profile
Experience in purchasing and record of accomplishment of developing and monitoring the supplier base.
The ability to analyze data and work with stock reductions and planning parameters.
Experience to work cross-functional and delivering project objectives.
Good communication skills.
Passionate about continues improvements.
It is beneficial if you have previous experience in reviewing technical drawings and have knowledge in purchasing Cylinders, and Hydrualics.
To succeed in this role you need to be analytic and structured. You need to take initiatives to improve the supply chain and monitor the supplier performance. You are good at maintaining relationships and have the capability to handle multiple tasks in parallel.
What you’ll need to succeed
At least 3 years of relevant global industrial experience (truck, construction machines, mining, agriculture or automotive).
Minimum 3 years relevant work experience in sourcing roles in an international and multi-site company.
Experience in working with large suppliers with global multi-site footprint and managing supplier relations and negotiations.
Project management, cross-functional improvement teams and supplier development programs.
