Procurement Specialist

About the job
We are looking for an experienced procurement specialist with experience in supply chain management to join our team.
Some main duties are:
>work with current suppliers to ensure agreements are honoured and conduct risk mitigation
>responsible for developing and optimizing the supplier base
>responsible for market benchmarks and supplier evaluations
>set forecasts, plan and drive the procurement activities so that they reflect changes in demands
>negotiate price agreements to obtain best cost for the business
>travelling to supplier sites, mainly located in China

About you
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
> be fluent in English and Mandarin
> understanding of Chinese business culture
> excellent in communication and analytical skills
> process management skills
> an appropriate university degree in Procurement management or equivalent experience
> strong business judgement with a track record of successfully leading negotiations and overall supplier relationship management with senior level counterparts.
>minimum of 5 years’ experience in sourcing/purchase environment
>good team working skills coupled with the ability to a multi-tasking environment
>be able to work independently, take initiative and responsibility – and have a great commitment.

Start date: By agreement
Location: Our main office is located in Växjö in the south of Sweden, remote work can be arranged
Working hours: Full time
Salary: By agreement
