Are you service minded, solution oriented with passion for creating and caring supplier relationships you might be the right person for us. We are looking for a Buyer for the Procurement organisation within Special Mission & Regional Aircraft to work in an international environment.
Your role
As a Buyer at Saab Special Mission & Regional Aircraft you will support our projects, programs and campaigns with sourcing activities. You will be a part of cross-functional supplier teams together with Strategic buyer, Supplier quality engineer and design engineer to secure long-term supplier support. The main focus is to secure deliveries in time from suppliers by preparing purchase scope and handle day-to-day purchases within spares and/or repairs different programs and project at SAAB.
The role includes:
* Handle day-to-day requirements, place orders and expedite
* Clarify and prepare scope of upcoming requests
* Handling export control issues
* Together with strategic buyer and quality team evaluate supplier performance and qualify suppliers
* Identify, develop and secure the supplier base to meet the organization's future requirements
* Take an active part in developing the department going forward
This position includes full supply chain responsibility from quotation to purchase as well as monitoring our suppliers. You will play an important role to develop both large and small suppliers through cooperation, continuous dialogue and performance reviews. You will be a part of implementing improved ways of working according to Saabs processes.
Your profile
Solutions focused, driven and experienced within procurement. When collaborating with stakeholders, you are confident with the ability to build relationships, influence and provide advice to key decision makers. You focus on achieving success in both individual and team projects.
Required skills:
* YH or Bachelor's degree in procurement or logistics or similar build-up of skills and experience.
* Experience of operative procurement
* Great cooperative and flexible ability
* Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written
* Great ability for service
* A technical interest/knowledge can be of advantage
* It is an advantage with experience from IFS business system
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

Special Mission and Regional Aircraft, a newly formed part of the Aeronautics Business Area within Saab, delivers extensive aircraft platform modifications, services and integrated support solutions for cost effective support of systems and platforms during the complete life cycle.
SMRA is now in an intensive phase with several Special Mission and Civil delivery projects ongoing.
