Producer - theHunter: Call of the Wild

Expansive Worlds is a creative division of Avalanche Studios Group and a leading developer and publisher of outdoor games. Since 2009, Expansive Worlds has been devoted to delivering highly immersive outdoor gaming experiences for millions of players and is best known for the long-standing and successful theHunter franchise.

The Position
Expansive Worlds is currently hiring a Producer to join our Call of the Wild development team, either in Malmo or Stockholm. As Producer, you will work closely together with the development disciplines to coordinate resources to ensure successful completion of assigned development features. Your focus is on managing the teams, identifying bottlenecks and critical paths, and maintaining productive collaboration with other disciplines and departments so that challenges and obstacles can be addressed and overcome in a professional and expedient fashion.

In your day-to-day work, you will be in close contact with the developers as well as the other producers. Good communication, follow-up, organizational and people skills are key to executing this role successfully. Members of the dev team will report to you, and in turn, you will report to the Lead Producer.

Required qualifications

- Experience as a Producer or Associate Producer within game development/production
- Experience in running and driving a team forward in a Live-service development environment
- Experience in overseeing releases for features and updates.
- Attention to detail, timely follow-up and strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent listening and communication skills with the ability to communicate developer and project goals in a clear, concise manner
- Excellent skills in both written and verbal English


Desired qualifications

- Experience with project planning and Agile/Scrum development methodology
- Experience leading a full or significant part of a development team.
- Extensive knowledge of game and software development methods.
- Familiarity with budgets and operational tasks.
