Service Solutions is a successful part of Grid and Power Quality Solutions (GPQS) unit with the ambition to grow on the global market the coming years. We have a mandate and strategy to support a global expansion based on Hitachi ABB Power Grids installed base and will be an important part of service business.

Your responsibilities
Analyze, determine and track development needs from a business perspective
Drive sales activities towards third parties together with local representatives throughout the sales cycle from pre-sales and capture team selling until contact award and hand-over to execution
Develop and keep the strategic plan updated and communicate to the global Lifecycle Projects (LCP) community
Identify the need of marketing and sales materials and be part of develop the same
Take ownership and represent the LCP/upgrades perspective from a lifecycle perspective when new product/system offerings are being developed
Analyze market potentials and out of that prioritize sales activities out of the Hitachi ABB Power Grids and competitors installed base of FACTS plants
Develop and positioning the offering for upgrades
Be the point of contact and defending the LCP positioning in various forums with SCM, suppliers, lifecycle management, lifecycle services etc
Supporting the sales and tendering team with LCP specialist competence
The ultimate objective is to grow the global LCP business

Your background
We are looking for a self-driven and goal-oriented person with communicative and collaborative skills
Willingness to develop the business through challenge and improve processes and collaboration
Technical education/background, with knowledge in the FACTS technology and markets
Sales and/or tendering competence
Analytical skills
Competence in commercial matters like (T&C, delivery terms, payment terms, cash flow, cost/margin/price calculations)
Proficient in English since you will be part of an international setting where you will get to exchange knowledge with people from all over the world. Knowledge in other languages is a plus
