About the role
As a Product Application Engineer at FlatFrog, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between the technical development of a product and its practical application in real-world scenarios. You will be responsible for understanding the product's features and capabilities and working closely with customers and internal teams to ensure it meets their specific needs. This role requires a technical background and well-developed communication skills, but we value curiosity, determination and eager to learn just as much. In the future we see potential career advancement opportunities as transitioning into product management, technical sales, or specializing in a particular product line.

The key responsibilities include:
Product Expertise: Become a subject matter expert on our product, understanding technical specifications, features, and capabilities thoroughly.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product development teams, reporting customer feedback, issues, and suggesting improvements or new features.
Competitor and Ecosystem Understanding: Analyze the competitive landscape, including features, performance, and limitations of competing and complementary solutions. Drive benchmark testing of FlatFrog products and ecosystem products.
Customer Engagement and Support: Assist customers in integrating FlatFrog products, proposing necessary changes in both FlatFrog and customer products. Develop and deliver training sessions, webinars, and workshops to educate customers on product features, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques. Gather customer feedback, utilizing it to drive product improvements and enhancements.
Documentation: Create and maintain product documentation, including user guides, technical manuals, FAQs, integration guides, and evaluation user guides.
Quality Assurance: Conduct product testing, evaluate software updates, and ensure products meet customer expectations in terms of performance and quality.
Project Management:
Assist in managing and implementing product-related projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope.
We look for a person, rather than a perfect CV. But as far as qualification goes, we believe that you have:
Bachelor's or higher degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
A technical background with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts.
Customer focus and dedication to ensuring the product's success in meeting customer needs.
Open to learning new technologies and skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A proactive approach to finding solutions and strong self-drive
It is a plus but not necessary if you have:
previous experience in a simiar role
knowledge of the industry or domain in which the product is used is beneficial.
