Job Description

We are now looking for a Product Area Engineer / Competence Lead to the Product Area Inventory Optimization in the Customer Fulfilment domain. You will be a fundamental part of driving the creation of the world's greatest fashion experience. In order to be successful, you will need to have a holistic view of the full Commerce set-up, an exceptional understanding of decomposable and headless architecture, microservices as well as insights into our potential to amplify core processes with AI. If you also have experience from our tech-stack (SAP, Azure, .Net, AWS, Java) and how to implement large B2C commerce systems, you might just be a good fit and find this position exceptionally fun and challenging. You will be working closely with the Product Area Lead Engineer as well as the Product Area Manager from multiple areas and domains to succeed with the technical vision.
The Product Area Engineer / Competence Lead role has a dual focus –staff responsibility and delivery. As a Competence Lead you will have staff responsibility for employees within the same/adjacent competence as your own, working in different product teams within the same product area. You will support, coach and help your team members grow and develop. You will work closely with the Product Owners within the product area, as well as other Competence Leads, Software Engineers and Business Experts.
Your main tasks
Participation and lead in further advancements in the H&Ms Future Commerce Initiative
Perform technical and architectural analysis of requirements and impact analysis together with multiple participants from other domains, areas and product teams
Use an experimental mindset to identify, evaluate and recommend alternative design options which take target environment, performance security requirements and existing systems into account
Set up interaction and knowledge sharing processes among team members in different agile teams
Create a culture that drives innovation, high quality and outcome-based value delivery

Qualifications

Who you are
Our journey will lead to something new and exciting - we will test, fail and learn. You are an important player in this transformation; therefore, we believe you are flexible and able to work in an environment that is not yet formalized. You are probably a developer by heart and have been working as a Solution Architect or Tech Lead within the commerce space.
Furthermore, we believe you have:
Extensive experience in working with IT/system/solution in preferably large, international organizations working with cloud solutions (preferably Azure), API's, Agile, and Devops
