Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Product Build Project Leader to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
Lead and manage the full process of delivering physical test objects, coordinating and ensuring the successful execution of the project from start to finish.
Create, anchor, and track build time plans, budgets, and resources required for building physical test objects.
Collaborate with Verification (FVV) PM to support the planning and execution of campaigns on pre-production vehicles, including managing updates and reporting status.
Chair meetings related to physical test object builds, such as Vehicle Update Meetings (VUM), Rig Update Meetings (RUM), build meetings, and sign-off/hand-over meetings.
Participate in key project and build meetings, providing regular status reports on material, build progress, and other relevant information.
Guide the specification and ordering of test objects, ensuring accurate Bill of Materials (BoM) and timely procurement of parts.
Oversee build locations and resources, ensuring smooth operation from plant or workshop until test object sign-off.
Collect and document Road Approval documents, maintaining clear records and presenting status to stakeholders.
Maintain PROTOM to accurately reflect BoM and specifications for test objects.
Drive continuous improvement efforts, refining work processes and methodologies as needed.
What you bring:
Proven project management experience, with a focus on the automotive industry (min. 5 years in prototype builds, logistics, testing, operations, or product development).
Strong leadership and networking skills, with a self-driven approach to managing projects and leading teams.
Effective decision-making and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive mindset for tackling challenges.
Excellent communication and conflict management skills to navigate and resolve complex situations.
Fluent in English, with the ability to convey information clearly and collaborate across diverse teams.
Familiarity with key tools and systems such as PROTOM, GLORIA, KOLA, DVP Process, GPS, MS Project, and SCORE.
Commitment to continuous learning and adaptation, ensuring processes remain efficient and effective.
