Our Quality department work to ensure the quality in Polestar products throughout the life cycle of our product and services. The department is expanding at a rapid pace, and we are now searching for an influential leader to our newly formed Product Certification & Regulations team.

The Product Certification & Regulations team is the key provider of product regulations, product certification and all activities related to these areas. The deliveries are basis to make it possible for Polestar to register and sell vehicles globally. The role is based at our HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden.



What you’ll do

This position consists of leading certification of Polestar products as well as managing the Certification team. The team is growing, currently we are six employees in Sweden and China.

Your tasks will contain:

- Assuring that product certification prerequisites are known within Polestar
- Assuring that time plans, estimates of certification cost and number of certification test objects are delivered to the project
- Following-up that certification data and appropriate test objects are delivered according to plan
- Assuring that compliance activities and documentation are maintained during product lifetime
- Driving corrective actions due to deviations occurred within the product certification area
- Maintaining communication with technical service and authorities worldwide




Who you are

We are looking for a strong communicator with leadership skills and experience. Someone with the courage to challenge who takes great responsibility within the area. The match we are looking for have several years of experience within the area of product certification, in a position with personnel responsibility.

This position will occasionally also require local presence - you are expected to be comfortable with travelling for work a few times per year.
