About the Claims specialist role

The role belongs to Voice of the Customer, a division within the Customer Service team that handles challenging cases which involve collaboration with other departments and third parties (suppliers). As a Product Claim Process Specialist you will spend your days in resolving customer errands that concern defective products and other product quality related issues. In addition to this, you will initiate claim cases with the suppliers and handle credit notes as well as spare parts. You will be consolidating reports on claim statistics and will forward the insight to your respective manager and other relevant teams within the organization. You will be expected to execute the existing processes, but also continuously improve them to make the role more efficient and to ensure that our customers receive premium service.

We are looking for a temporary (maternity leave) cover and are offering a 15 month contract.

As a Claims specialist you will:

• Handle escalated customer inquiries concerning product quality
• Forward and escalate claims towards suppliers in a timely manner (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually depending on the commercial terms)
• Have full ownership of the claims reporting process with the existing reporting setup
• Maintain and develop functional and efficient processes for handling all claim related tasks and projects
• Coordinate product recalls
• Map and document all process changes
• Build and maintain a professional relationship with the suppliers and representatives of other departments within the Babyshop Group
• Continuously improve the claims process to improve quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
• Help out in other departments within Customer Service when needed

An excellent candidate:

• The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated team player and an inspiration to others with a drive and determination to deliver results
• Experience in customer service, sales, phone sales, retention or loyalty activities
• You are an executing doer with the ability to work across many departments to request information and solve problems
• You have attention to detail and understand that the details make the difference
• You have good computer skills and enjoy working with data
• No prestige regarding hitting the phone yourself to deliver results, or handling spare parts in the warehouse
• A “customer first” mindset with the understanding that speed and quality go hand in hand when it comes to handling claims
• You are good at finding ways to cut costs
• You are innovative and challenge the old ways to open new doors
• Fluency in Swedish and English, spoken and written is mandatory
• Any additional language is a plus

The position is on-site, based in Jönköping, Sweden. You will report to our Voice of the Customer Manager

Extent: 40h/week, 15 month maternity leave cover

Form of employment: Temporary employment (maternity leave cover)

Location: Jönköping, Norra Stigamovägen 4

Start: As soon as possible or latest Monday, 23rd of May 2022
