At ABB Metallurgy we produce electromagnetic stirrers to the steel and aluminum industries. Primary customers are steel and aluminum plants.


In this important role, you will be a key-player in ensuring that we deliver our products in accordance with export regulations and according to ABB standard. Focus will also be to support engineering, procurement and the sustainability work that is conducted within the unit.


Your responsibilities
Provide classification of products, software, and technologies during product development and regarding backlog items
Define/work with master data management processes
Ensure that master data is compliant with defined information, policies, and quality requirements
Additionally, you will support engineering, supply chain manager and purchasing
You will also be an important part of the sustainability work within the department



Your background
Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Good understanding of technical specifications, performance characteristics and description of manufacturing material
Experience in Product classification and mechanical or electrical engineering is an advantage
Analytical skills including the ability to apply regulatory concepts and definitions as well as ABB classification strategies to the determination of product classification
Fluency in English and Swedish both spoken and written
As a person you are meticulous, structured, service oriented, creative, solution oriented, work proactively with focus on delivering within the deadline and the right quality
