We are now looking for a Product Compliance Coordinator to External Partner Services, who will join us in building and developing the H&M Group partner ecosystem.
External Partner Services is a new function within a rapidly growing context for the H&M Group. The mission is to secure meaningful growth for the H&M Group and its partners. The team brings speed, knowledge and transparency to the collaborations and partnerships between H&M Group brands and external branded products and service partners. The services offered are within partner onboarding, connectivity, expansion, compliance and business development.
Today we have partnerships with more than 400 external partner brands, playing different roles in our assortment strategies. The brands are acting in lifestyle segments such as fashion, beauty, home, kids and sport.
Job Description
As a Product Compliance Coordinator, you are responsible for securing that our partners understand and meet the H&M Group's specific and the legal requirements in all markets where their External Branded products are to be sold. You secure that the products are compliant to create the best customer offer in all sales channels in a sustainably and legal way. You will work in a service team, in a collaborative network close to other colleagues and functions such as the Group Compliance Department, Assortment, Sustainability, Legal and all the H&M Group brands.
Your responsibilities would be to:
Be part of a multi competent service team and work actively to identify and create business value for our H&M Group brands and their external partners.
Together with the virtual team define the strategic vision and create the compliance roadmap based on deep understanding of the business potentials for the future.
Have a tight collaboration with stakeholders in many parts of the organization, to make sure that compliance, product safety, sustainability and salesmanship are working hand in hand.
Collect information to perform a Due Diligence at company level and compliance check at product level on our external partners and products.
You plan, investigate, communicate and follow up on new external branded products within your responsibility area.
Upon request you also update compliance connected documents and routines as well as communicating the updates to the external partners.

Qualifications
We are searching for someone who:
Has experience from compliance work within any of these product areas: Food contact products, Electrical & Electronic products, Furniture, Food & Supplements and/or Toys & Children's Safety in general.
Has a flexible approach and ability to find creative solutions with the customer in mind.
Has a strong interest in sustainability.
Relevant university degree, civil engineer or likewise.
Has a do-er mindset, willing to get hands-on solving any problems needed to make the team move forward through the Why, the What and the How.
Has great "keep it simple" approach and can turn complex analysis into key messages that non-compliance specialists easily can understand and take action on.
Has strong coordination and communication skills and is confident to talk in front people.

The external partner business is a rapidly increasing business model for the H&M Group and our brands and business units. The function is in a start up phase and this gives great responsibility from day one and a possibility to form the role moving forward. To succeed in the role, you need to act, learn and adapt in a cross functional set up.
