PRODUCT COMPLIANCE DIRECTOR
Husqvarna Construction Division
We are now looking for a Product Compliance Director to lead our product compliance team within Construction Division. The product compliance team’s responsibility is to ensure that Husqvarna Construction’s products are safe to use and fulfill the regulatory requirements in our various markets.

Your mission and responsibilities:
You will be a part of a high performing team that consists of 6 skilled Product Compliance Specialists. Together with your team you will monitor legislation and standards related to Husqvarna Construction’s products. New legislation, but also updates in existing legislation, needs to be monitored, and determined whether it affects Husqvarna’s Construction’s products, and how.
You will report to the Senior Vice President Category Concrete Sawing & Drilling, be a part of the category’s management team, and have the Product Compliance responsibility for the whole division.
You, and your team, will work closely with Husqvarna Group’s product compliance networks, and take an active role in relevant national and international standard committees. To keep yourself up to date and to develop in your role, you will be able to participate in external networks.

· Assure that relevant stakeholders (R&D, product management, sourcing and manufacturing) are proactively informed about related legislative and standard changes.
· Plan and perform audits with regards to compliance.
· Take part in product development projects to secure that compliance requirements are fulfilled.
Who are you?
A successful candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, exceptional cross functional leadership abilities and outstanding communication skills with the ability to communicate complex topics in a clear and effective manner.
You have a proven track record of being an inclusive leader with a true interest of working in the product compliance field.
Moreover, we believe you have the following attributes:
· Relevant working experience and a university degree in engineering or similar.
· Exceptional management skills with demonstrated success in leading a team.
· You have the ability to understand and explain complex legal and regulatory requirements to enable development of practical business solutions.
· You like a structured way-of-working.
· You are a self-motivated, energetic team player with proven ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and across international markets.
· You are fluent in English.
