As a Product Compliance Engineer, your job will be to ensure our vehicles in the field meet global safety and regulatory standards. You will lead various compliance initiatives, manage investigations, and collaborate with teams across engineering, legal, and production to maintain product integrity and compliance. It truly is a vital role that contributes heavily to making sure that we keep exceeding industry standards.
You will work at our main production facility in Ängelholm, Sweden and report directly to the Chief Product Compliance Officer.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee product compliance and manage potential non-compliance issues. - Lead investigations and support regulatory inquiries. - Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements. - Support recall documentation and government responses. - Actively participate in various improvement activities, projects and similar, contributing to increased efficiency in your department and the company as a whole.
About you
In order to be successful in this role, we believe that you are a detail-oriented person who can make sure that nothing is overlooked and who also has the ability to analyze data, identify trends and predict potential compliance issues. As collaboration with a wide array of stakeholders is one of the key factors for success in this role, we also believe that you need to have solid communication skills as well as being a strong relationship-builder.
Requirements:
- University degree in Engineering and/or Law combined with several years (5+) of working experience in Automotive Compliance. - Strong knowledge of global automotive legislation and regulations (NHTSA, EPA, ARB, EU, and UN) and implementation. - Experience of working with regulatory, and compliance agencies.
