The industry is going through big changes. As developer of industrial tools to the industry, Atlas Copco Industrial Technique works closely with customers world-wide in this transformation. As a compliance engineer within our R&D department, you will have an important role in ensuring the availability of our products on the market.
The regulatory demands, as well as formal customer requirements, are increasing and our product portfolio is getting more complex, with more electronics and software-based products. Join us and take a key role in defining regulatory demands in our product development process and assisting R&D in obtaining and maintaining required certificates.
Your mission will be:
Review new and changed international legislations, directives and standards, as well as major customer requirements
Create policies and transform the result into clear product requirements for different product families
Advise and assist product development projects in certification issues
Facilitate risk assessments and support the internal risk management process according to EN ISO 12100
Define product labeling and documentation requirements from a regulatory perspective
Assist in product safety and regulatory compliance reviews
Manage, establish and communicate processes and make sure they are followed
You will work in close collaboration with R&D and other company functions.

Your profile
Academic education in engineering, mechanical or electrical
Knowledge and experience in working with directives, standards and certifications
Hands on knowledge in the application of product safety standards, as well as ISO 9000 and ISO 17025
Experience from risk management
Fluent in English. Swedish is preferable
