We are looking for a product compliance specialist within EMC and with a focus on advanced electric products – primarily Robotics.


You will be part of the Product Compliance department within the Husqvarna division. Our main task is to ensure that all products are safe to use and that all regulatory requirements in different markets are met.

Responsibilities
This position focuses on advanced electric products – primarily Robotics, and the main tasks will be to:
Identify and monitor worldwide regulatory development within the EMC area.
Assure that relevant stakeholders (R&D, product management, sourcing and manufacturing) are proactively informed about related legislative and standard changes.
Be part of our compliance network and take an active role in relevant national and international standard committees.
Represent Product Compliance in new product development projects to secure that product compliance is achieved. This include specifying requirements, supporting certification processes, reviewing compliance evidence and approvals.
Act in Husqvarna Group compliance network activities to influence proposed legislative and standard changes, that risk to adversely affect the business.
Support in EMC-related questions from compliance colleagues, R&D, test houses, etc.


Qualifications
To fit in this role, we see that you have the following qualifications:
M.Sc. or BS degree in engineering or equivalent work experience.
Experience from work with complex electric products.
Proficiency in English.

Preferred qualifications:
Competence and experience in electrical/EMC technology.
Competence and experience in electric product safety.
Knowledge about general product requirements for electric products, batteries, SW development, radio applications and functional safety is beneficial.

We use a hybrid working model with a flexible setup between working from home and at the office.
