About the job
We are looking for a Product Content Owner to join our growing Engagement and Adoption team. The Product Content Owner is responsible for producing high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products. This person must have excellent research skills, must be able to organize ideas, and be able to translate technical terms into text that any reader can understand. The ideal person must also act as an advocate for our users and understand what they need assistance with.
What you'll be doing:
· Promote the latest professional content development standards and principles, to plan and develop user assistance
· Plan, schedule, and execute documentation activities for projects with minimal support from others.
· Reviews technical documents, videos, and interactive content to improve its effectiveness
We're looking for:
· Seeks, accepts, and manages feedback on one's own work follows and supports style and brand guidelines
· Strong organization and attention to detail, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
· Collaborative team member who is eager to work as an internal and external partner
· Ability to work in a fluid environment with changing priorities
Requirements:
· 4-year University degree, or equivalent working experience
· 3-8+ years of technical writing experience
· Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) and work in English
· Authors timely high-quality user assistance that is appropriate for its intended audience.
• Writes clear, easy-to-understand UI text and contextual help
• Preferred experience using content creation and management tools (MadCap Flare, Confluence, Adobe Framemaker, etc.)
