Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
Product structure is the heart of the Scania modular system. By helping build, develop, and maintain the product structure in an efficient and logic way, Product Coordination helps create the future vehicles of Scania.
Your tasks
As a product coordinator, in the group RVDB, you are in the center of Scania's information flow for Engineering Change Orders (ECO's), and will have daily communication with development engineers, production preparation and other cross-functions within Scania.
You will work with a wide range of product development projects (within both yellow, green, and red arrow projects). Product coordination has an important role within the development of the new bus platform NBA, electrification BEV projects and S-order, and by working with the future products as a product coordinator you will influence the product structure for all new products.
Besides project work, you will also act as a product structure support for designers, as well as getting an expert role within frame hole review, and ECO-handeling.
Your profile
• For this particular position experience from bus development, bus production, is preferable
• You have experience as a designer, production preparator or have previously been working with product structure somewhere at Scania
• You have experience with ECO's, OAS, Mona, Catia or TCR/VCR
• As a person you should be communicative, and feel comfortable with working both by your own and in a team
• You should be quality driven, and be able to work towards deadlines
• You should be support-oriented and be open for new ideas and continuous improvements
• You should feel comfortable to work in both English and Swedish
