Arbetsbeskrivning
Do you want to be in the center of creating and maintaining the product structure that is the heart of Scania’s modular system?
Scania is undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses, and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions. This transformation and also the closer co-operation within the Traton group will affect the way we create and use our product structure. Hence, it is an interesting time to be working in Product Coordination.
Your role
As a product coordinator, you are in the center of creating and maintaining the product structure that is the heart of Scania’s modular system. You will both create the design structure (KS) and also develop the logic that ensures a correct specification (TCR/VCR). By doing this in an efficient and logical way, you will influence the development of the product structure for all future products and solutions.
You work in close co-operation with development engineers, production preparation, and other cross-functions within Scania as well as with colleagues within our group and our section RVD. You will work with a wide range of product development projects (within both yellow, green, and red arrows) as well as initiatives within product developing VCTs:s and within the VCT for integration.
We offer
We offer you to be a part of a very experienced and supporting team that together takes on our everyday challenges and helps each other along the way. We also offer you the opportunity to be our representative in different project groups and be the face of product coordination.
You will get a broad network within Scania and both wide and in-depth knowledge about Scania’s current and future products and solutions, from complete vehicle down to component level.
We also offer you an opportunity to develop your skills not only regarding the design structure but also regarding structures for conversions, EXIT calculations, CAVA, CSWIP, etc. Since times are changing we also offer you to take part in our business development and our work with continuous improvement.
Your profile
As a person, you should be communicative, support-oriented, and appreciate working both on your own and in a team. You should have a curious mind and interest in our products, willing to understand what we build and how. You should feel comfortable working in both English and Swedish.
You need to be quality-driven and structured in your work and have the capability to see and understand the big picture as well as work with the details. You also need to be able to plan your work and work towards deadlines and at the same time help your customers to achieve proactive deliveries.
It is an advantage if you have experience as a development engineer, production preparator, or have previously been working with product structure somewhere within Scania and have experience with ECOs, OAS, Mona, Catia, or TCR/VCR.
