Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Product structure is the heart of the Scania modular system. By helping build, develop, and maintain the product structure in an efficient and logic way, Product Coordination helps create the future vehicles of Scania.


Your tasks  

As a product coordinator, you are in the center of Scania's information flow for Engineering Change Orders (ECO's), and will have daily communication with R&D Designers, Production preparation, Marketing, and other cross-functions within Scania. You will work as a help, support, and expert regarding product structure possibilites. 

You will work with a wide range of product development projects with in the whole product life cycle; both within the concept development phase, industrialization development and product maintenence. You might be involved within both new transmission projects, chassis installation projects, electrification projects, and autonomous vehicles. As a product coordinator you will influence the product structure for new products, and form the future of the Scania modular toolbox.

Besides project work, you will act as a product structure support for R&D product designers, as well as getting an expert role within chassis frame hole review, and ECO-handeling.

Your profile  

For this specific position we are looking for someone who will do various parts of the chassis intallations, and as a first task you will be responsible for the Silencer.


• We believe you have an interest for technology and have a Master of sience within a technical field connected to product development, IT or logistics
• You might have experience as a product development designer, production preparator, or have previous been working with product structure
• You are used of working with data bases and feel comfortable with working with computors as your main tool throughout the day
• You have experinece of CAD, such as Catia, and feel comfortable with reading product drawings or product structure information
• As a person you are communicative, service-minded, and feel comfortable with working both by your own and in a team.
• You are quality driven, and able to work towards deadlines
• You are support-oriented, open for new ideas and actively contributes to continuous improvements.
• You feel comfortable in working in both English and Swedish
