About the team:
You will be part of a newly created team for sub systems engineering within the areas of charging and electric power take off. The team will work to define concepts and set requirements for the full Volvo Group platform of commercial electrical vehicles. About the role:
The Product Cybersecurity Coordinator is a lead Product Cybersecurity Engineer. You will be leading the cybersecurity activities starting from early concept development, moving on to defining requirements, and ensuring the sub system of Charging and electric power take off and undergoes successful verification. Depending on workload other parts of the Electromobility system can also be in scope of this role.
This is an exciting opportunity where you will define the future of charging and electric power take off sub systems and contribute to the success of our company in the transition to zero emission commercial vehicles.
As Product Cybersecurity Coordinator you will also:
Technical contribution to perform and updating cybersecurity deliverables such as TARA, cybersecurity concept and cybersecurity specification development.
Represent the team in cybersecurity community of practice.
Represent the team/domain in type approval procedure.
Domain responsible for cybersecurity culture, planning and reporting.
Develop and follow up cybersecurity plan for project according to scope and delivery.
Request cybersecurity validation from the penetration testers.
Release the consolidated cybersecurity requirements (e.g., Cybersecurity goals, security controls) in requirement management tool.
Support system engineers in the team and in other teams with cybersecurity development and V&V activities.
Continuously monitoring/tracking & documenting the system changes for CS related products and execute impact analysis to indicate the potential impact on type approval.
We are looking for…
A driven team player with extensive experience from cybersecurity engineering along with experience in a dynamic and high paced product development environment is beneficial.
Requirements:
You have M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Computer Science, Mechatronic or similar.
Minimum 5 years of documented experience in cybersecurity engineering, preferably within the automotive industry.
Knowledge of cybersecurity engineering best practices, standards, and regulation (i.e., ISO/SAE 21434, SAE J3061, ISO 27001/27002, UNECE R155)
Knowledge and practical experience with common cybersecurity controls e.g., secure boot, security onboard and offboard communication, hardware security module.
Knowledge and experience in cybersecurity threat analysis and risk assessment process and techniques
Strong problem-solving skills to analyse cybersecurity issues and requirements.
Experience from working in requirements management tools.
Fluent in both written and verbal English.
Desired qualifications may include:
Background in charging system or electrical power take-off in the automotive industry.
Previous involvement in cybersecurity engineering, system engineering or product development at Volvo Group.
Experience in system verification processes.
Experience in System Weaver, requirement management tools.
