As a Product Design Engineer (PDE) in IKEA Home smart, you are the Technical Project Leader.  

You will be responsible for developing new physical products in the area of embedded software and Internet of Things (IoT) and continuously improve the quality and compliance of our existing products range. The PDE is accountable for bringing the required engineering competencies in to the projects and secure that all the technical deliverables are on time. In a collaborative and multifunctional environment, you will lead a team of highly skilled Engineers through the technical product development process. Your focus area will be the connectivity and control products, our smart gateway, and all the connected control devices.

Your responsibilities are (among others):
Be involved in different innovation projects and initiatives
Drive for the development of new features, technology, and materials as well as risk assessments
Take part of the sustainability agenda and drive it forward to make it happen
And of course – it will be a lot of fun!
