Job Description

As a Product Designer you will work closely with the product team to create and design the best products and assortment for Weekday’s customer. You will lead the visionary fashion work and create the best products & assortment for our target customer to drive responsible growth in all channels.
• You will also be responsible for:
• Constantly follow & act on upcoming trends and identify new opportunities
• Research – the surroundings, competitors & fashion forward trends
• Drive the product development in a responsible way from start to end in close collaboration with product team
• Identify seasonal keys and drive new and commercial directions for your category
• Constantly follow, identify and react on tendencies based on customer insights and surrounding analysis in collaboration with product team
• Identify, develop and drive the way-of-working to reach our overall goals with relevance, agility, price and responsibility in mind
• Identify components and materials
• Responsible for and experience from product policy / legal product approvals for these types of products
• Close collaboration with design lead, product designers and print team
• Identify components (trims, finishes) & fabrics
• Set and drive assortment strategy & agile development strategy
• Close collaboration with the design lead, the pattern maker & the product developer as well as other Weekday designers
Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar role
• Strong fashion intelligence & relevance with sense for timing
• Creative and visionary
• Collaborative team-player with a flexible and agile mindset
• Growth mindset and diverse perspectives
• Strong ability to interpret the design direction idea to a commercial, customer focused on brand product
• Self-lead your work, take initiatives to drive the product creation and act on business opportunities with a track record in creating sales results
• CLO 3D competence is meriting
• Excellent communication & presentations skills
• English fluency (Swedish not necessary)

This is a full-time 11 month temporary position based in Stockholm to start 26th September 2022.
