Arbetsbeskrivning
In a world where product size labels are wildly unreliable, Volumental is the footwear industry's leading FitTech™ company, using 3D scans and a one-of-a-kind, AI-powered recommendation engine to match everyone with the shoes that fit them best.
With top brand and retail partners across the world including New Balance, Bauer, The Athlete's Foot, Ecco and XXL, our footprint spans 2500+ stores across 45 countries, and growing!
We are now on a mission to help 500 million shoe shoppers find perfect fitting footwear by 2025 both in-store and online. And that’s where you come in! We're on the hunt for a Product Designer, to create the next products that will achieve that mission.
What will you work on?
This role is part of our product and development teams. You will be designing products both independently and as part of a team. At Volumental, we are driven by an agile method so collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. You will work with different stakeholders including developers, designers and our UX Researcher to create products with the best user experience in the market. You will work in a team that builds products of value for the shopper and puts the end user first every step of the way.
We are excited about you because:
You are a collaborative team member
You are open to teaching others and learning new things
You are keen to work in a caring and thoughtful environment
You have a curious and open mindset, like your fellow Volumentalists. When somebody suggests a new approach, you’re eager to understand more and test, evaluate and iterate to see if it works.
We expect you to:
Have worked professionally within product design, from product discovery to delivering final digital assets, with at least 3 years of professional experience creating digital products
Be able to describe how your professional work provided measurable value as well as an experience that users loved
Have experience working with modern design software workflows in a collaborative environment
Be able to show examples of amazing work you have done and are excited about doing work with our team to build processes and workflows that help us communicate and get feedback on the products and design system we create internally and externally
Be very familiar with iOS guidelines and what makes a great mobile experience
Be fluent in English. Other languages are a bonus.
Bonus - Don’t let these stop you from applying, but if they fit you, please let us know!
You have work experience or strong personal interest in AR/VR as a modality
You have work experience with product design in ecommerce
You consider UX writing and copy as important for a great product as other modalities and would like to contribute to that approach
You have illustration skills either with pen or paper or in 3D
You have a degree in Design or similar
Experience from working in a B2B SaaS environment
Knowledge of web and digital frameworks, such as HTML.
We understand that you might not fulfil all of these items, but don't worry - you will have lots of opportunities to learn here.
We encourage a diversity of applicants to apply! We’re a friendly and talented group of 50+ who enjoy learning from each other’s unique perspectives. You’ll be an important part of the greater whole - able to drive initiatives and steer your own development, while at the same time collaborating with other specialties in the team.
COVID-19 Notice:
Our recruitment process normally includes at least one opportunity for a face to face meeting, but in these times we have moved to virtual hiring and onboarding processes to respect social distancing. Should a candidate prefer to meet in person at the final stages of recruitment, we take all necessary precautions to ensure everyone’s safety.
Our entire company has been to a large degree working remotely during this period, and we are confident about maintaining a creative and efficient environment while away from the office! However, as we do hope to return to the office eventually, you will need to relocate to Stockholm for this role.
