We have over 14 million users all over the world who have logged over 12 million catches in our app.
We are currently looking a Senior– and/or mid-senior Product Designer.
We look to add both new– and exciting flavour to our team. We are looking for mid-seniors as well as seniors, age doesn’t matter. Perhaps you are pixel strong or UX heavy, perhaps you are both. We are looking from concepts strong with innovation at heart, to strategic designers with a data driven mindset. Fishbrain is for curious designers with a high achieving mindset who prioritise service design thinking. Your background could be from agency or tech, school or consultancy, as long as the team is prioritised.
Your daily work will involve:
Being part of a cross- functional team, working closely with engineers, product managers, and marketing.
Working across the entire product lifecycle, from product discovery to product development and through multiple product iterations.
Constantly looking for insights and data to drive the best UX– and UI decisions in your designs, such as qualitative research and A/B tests.
Working together with the design team to build a consistent UX– and UI and experience across the whole customer journey
Communicating design decisions clearly within your team and to the wider organization.
Conducting user research via interviews, surveys and prototypes to find new insights and validate upcoming work
Conducting user tests to get input and iterate on the designs and concepts you and the team work on
Collaborating closely with our marketing and data teams to dig into the product metrics and look for trends in the data that verify our own observations.
Designing, developing, and launching product experiences and landing pages addressing the key areas of activation, retention and monetization.
Partnering with other designers to improve experiences across the board and increase engagement.
What we are fishing for:
You have about 3+ years of experience working with consumer-focused product design, for instance at an agency, a start-up or an in-house design department. Bonus if you have experience working on a freemium, premium, or subscription model.
Proven success in using design experiments and iterations to achieve company KPIs.
You are familiar with everything from user flows and customer journeys to wireframes, design systems and user interfaces.
You are comfortable with designing UIs that visualize data, statistics and numbers.
Experience using tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.
You are self-driven, organized, and communicative.
You are able to communicate at a professional level of English, both spoken and written.
