Job Description
Are you an entrepreneurial spirit with a strong eye for contemporary on-trend and qualitative H&M HOME products? Do you get excited by fast pace, unexplored grounds and endless possibilities? Do you want to be a part of a creative and dynamic team? We are looking for a driven and creative Product Home Textiles Designer. This is a permanent role located at our head office in Stockholm starting 1st June 2022.
As Product Designer you are responsible for the vision and design to create an on trend, commercial and well coordinated assortment. You will be a key player in the creation of our textile ranges with a focus on affordable amazing textile products
Your responsibilities also include:
Setting short- and long-term vision and goals for the assortment together with Product Manager & Product Developer
Identifying future trends and key products for this category in line with H&M HOME brand aesthetics
Communicate ideas/design visually both in writing and through sketches in collaboration with production colleagues and suppliers around the world
Drive product development, check and approve samples, to achieve best product for our customer
Qualifications
Your profile
You have a documented work history in textile product design, with strong passion for fashionable interior textile products. You have a global, curious mindset and a genuine passion for trends, fashion and interior products. You are a creative visionary, well organized, love to collaborate across different teams with strong interpersonal and clear communications skills. You enjoy taking ownership and being flexible in your way of working. You are motivated by building collections, adapting and finding new ways of working in a creative, highly entrepreneurial, and diverse environment. You are motivated by working at a fast pace in a friendly team environment!
Your skills also include:
Experience (min 3 – 4 years) as a Designer of textile related interior products from an aspirational fashion &/or interior design background
Broad technical and material knowledge
Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs
Work experience from 3D CAD programs is meriting
Drawing skills
A strong visionary with an understanding of commercial product & customer focus
Good communication skills, a flexible attitude and capacity to adapt to changes are essential
Strong Leadership skills that value Team performance
Highly organized & structured approach with great time management
Understanding of our H&M HOME customer
Fluent in English (Swedish is not necessary)

Starting date is 1st June and you will report to Competence Lead for Design
This is a permanent role starting as soon as possible at our creative and dynamic head office in central Stockholm.
