Job Description


As Product Designer you are responsible for the vision and design to create an on trend, commercial and well coordinated assortment. You are a key player in the creation of our Live Textile assortment with focus on affordable amazing textile products.
The role includes:
Set short- and long-term vision and goals for the assortment together with the Buyer & Section Head
Be responsible for identifying future trends and key products for your category in line with H&M HOME brand aesthetics.
Communicate product design visually, in writing and through sketches with production colleagues and suppliers around the world.
Drive product development, check and approve samples, to achieve best product for our customer
The product areas include: Rugs, Curtains and Blankets





Qualifications


Your profile
You have a documented work history in textile product design, with strong passion for fashionable interior. You want to grow with us as a brand and are a driven “goal-getter” with an entrepreneurial spirit and excellent interpersonal skills. You can work at a fast pace in a team as well as independently
Your skills also include:
Minimum 2-3 years work experience as a designer of textile related interior products
Broad technical and material knowledge
Excellent knowledge of Adobe Suite
Work experience from 3D CAD programs is meriting
Understanding of or our HOME customer
Strong illustration & drawing skills
A creative and visionary approach with a strong passion for interior design
Good communication skills, a flexible attitude and capacity to adapt to changes are essential
Strong Leadership skills that value Team performance
Highly organized with great time management
Fluent in English (Swedish not necessary)

Your portfolio should include: Full design process, sketch book ideas, mood boards/research, CAD drawings, design development up to final ideas/collections. It should have an aspirational fashion & lifestyle handwriting. Please also include some aspirational work suited to the H&M HOME aesthetic. Only applications with relevant portfolio work for the role will be considered!
This is a 1-year temporary role starting as soon as possible at our creative and dynamic head office in central Stockholm.
