Job Description


We look for
A Product Designer to our H&M SPORT Atelier with responsibility for our visionary forward and highly innovative product design and development for our strong dedicated standalone Women, Mens and Kids Sport collections. H&M Sport will run essentially as a start-up within the H&M Group and as such, the role requires a broad, entrepreneurial and very agile growth mindset.
We look for an experienced driven, hands-on and self-motivated active sportswear designer. You are responsible for driving overall developing of forward thinking visionary future fashion sports collections, the seed for new components, silhouettes, details and design innovations within the frames of the H&M Sport concept.
You have a global, curious mindset and a genuine passion for sportswear and its future. You are well-organized, love teamwork, are humble and have strong and clear communication skills. You are motivated by being part of building our future sport design vision, adapting as we develop and constantly finding new ways of working in a creative and diverse environment. You have a true and burning passion for sportswear!
You will
drive and spear head the product vision and push it further through experimental and innovative hands on creative processes – draping, sewing, cutting or what is needed to communicate your ideas/vision. Your work is in the making and creation process, hands on testing, prototyping and developing.
fuse it with the latest tech tools. material innovation and dare to work ahead, you strive for design ideas that may not even exist in sportswear today!
collaborate with other teams and functions in the organization, primarily the Atelier Lead, Product designers, Print designers, Material specialists and more. You know how to inform and be informed by each others’ expertise and knowledge.
bring your wide and extensive experience from working on many projects and ability to collaborate with varied stake holders simultaneously. You come with fresh ideas, energy, high level design creativity and fully diverse global perspective to the team and inspire them through your great communication skills
You are used to work on many projects without loosing speed, which requires high energy and flexibility, strong independent drive and a constantly curious mindset





Qualifications


Senior Designer experience from an aspirational fashion &/or sportswear design background
A passion for sports- and/or fashion design demonstrating strong trend sensitivity
Experience from driving visionary commercial fashion projects
High competence in and deep knowledge of textiles, color, design and material techniques, draping, sewing, cutting and additional crafts based fashion design process
Agile entrepreneurial mindset and adaptable to fast changes
Strong and fast in Adobe Suite creative programs
3D CLO and innovative design software is meriting
A flexible, positive and inspirational team player
Documented leadership experience and a coaching mindset
Experience from creative studio work, preferably from global brand/s and international atelier environment
Excellent communication & presentations skills in English, written and verbal
