Description

The client are now looking for a Product Designer to be part of their “Brand Customer Identification” team. Customer Identifications mission is to enable an easy, convenient and value adding experience for the identified and loyal customers on the clients brands. They support throughout the shopping experience with added services and perks as a signed in customer to create engagement. Further they build knowledge around their customers which enables a more personalized and for the customer relevant experience.

The clients team are a recently started team with big ambitions and the opportunity to build something exciting together from scratch. The team is a part of a larger cluster where you as Product Designer will work closely with a team of designers. This enables to share knowledge and insights to reach the objectives set for the entire cluster.

At its core, Design is about making things better, and as such, make the world better.  The client consider the needs of present and future generations, and are aware that their entire business must be conducted in a way that is economically, socially and environmentally sustainable. Experience Designers are mission critical as you are tasked with bringing their customers with them by making sure everybody feels welcomed, included, and empowered on this journey.

Work tasks:

- Help define the vision for their digital experiences by empathizing with their customers and understand the challenges and opportunities within this space.
- Plan and propose the right research methodologies and prepare and facilitate the associated research activities and distill and document the output.
- Capture and document a deep understanding of the customers' needs, wants, behaviors and emotions in outputs such as customer journey maps, personas as well as support production of prototypes.
- Shape a shareable understanding of how customers experience the products combined with market insights, technical constraints and business needs to inform the creation of designs that surprises, delights and delivers through amazing experiences.
- Champion and embed research data as a vital element of the product delivery agile life cycle.
- Collaborate with Product Designers, Brand- and Visual Designers, Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts and other stakeholders.
- Take opinions and emotions out of the process by bringing to life the true customer voice into the room.


Mandatory competence and experience:

- Passionate about understanding the users' needs, motivations, behaviors and are able to translate them into actionable deliverables
- Proven professional with 5+ years of experience in research and analysis in the digital space.
- Experience with retail, fashion or comparable consumer brands.
- Knowledge and experience of driving Design Thinking methods in cross functional teams.
- A strong understanding of usability and user experience
- Experience with a variety of different user research methods applied across the product development process.
- Ability to translate user insights into actions formulated to fit an agile product methodology.
- Excellent communicator able to articulate design rationale with solid analytical thinking and problem-solving capability - you love to simplify the complex.
- Engaged, open minded and ambitious team player willing to share and learn
- Building relationships with users, recruiting participants, scheduling and facilitating moderated and unmoderated, quantitative and qualitative research.
- Iterative usability testing, field visits, contextual enquiry, focus groups, and surveys.
- Analysis, communication, and practical actioning of user insight, including from all of the above, plus databases of user feedback, analytics (web, database, server logs) A/B testing, and competitor analysis.
- Bringing customer stories and experiences to life for employees across sage. Metrics and measures for evaluating User Experience.
