The Product Developer is one of our core competences, a key role in our aim to provide our customers with high quality products to a low price. You will work in the heart of IKEA with the basis of our whole existence, our products. Together with a team of experts you will work with our kitchen and dining range, creating and developing it in order to create a range for the many people.

The Business Area of Bedrooms & Bathrooms has been identified as a core area of the home and, as such, it will be a focus area for FY15. Do you want to be part of developing the bedrooms and bathrooms businesses? Are you up for the challenge?

Delivery is a big focus in this role, and we will require you to deliver projects on time and within budget.

In order for you to be successful in the job, we believe that you need to have:
· Experience of working with product development in some form, including building and maintaining a range.
· A university degree in product development, design or similar.
· Genuine knowledge of and experience of project management on a global level.
· Your will be the one to drive, motivate and organise your team, so a solid leadership background is needed.

Understanding of our stores, the meeting with the customer and its implications for product design is also very important. We need you to have a genuine interest for improving peoples' lives at home, since that is where our products come to life and where our ideas start. Our Product Developers are driven by developing products for the many people and meeting our customer's expectations and needs.
