We are currently looking for a Product Developer for IKEA FAMILY. The IKEA FAMILY range shows that we care about people and environment ? by contributing to a safer, more active, healthier and more sustainable life at home. The range areas within IKEA FAMILY are Safety and Secure, Life at home knowledge and inspiration, Active Life and Sustainable life at home It strengthens the IKEA brand by having a unique IKEA identity and design.

The Product Developer is one of our core competences, a key role in our aim to provide our customers with high quality products to a low price. You will work in the heart of IKEA with the product range ? our identity. Our goal at IKEA of Sweden is to have the best Product Developers in the world. The reason for this is simple; we want to provide our customers with sustainable products of the highest quality, with the smartest and most attractive design to the best price possible. That?s it.

As a Product Developer you will have an overall responsibility to develop and conceptualise the range offer creating and executing the range plan. We want you to continuously push the boundaries in terms of innovation, value and simplicity in our product development process. Delivery is a big focus in this role, and we will require you to deliver projects on time and within budget.

In order for you to be successful in the job, you need to:
· be passionate about home furnishing, design and improving people?s life at home.
· have IKEA Democratic design principles inspire and challenge you in your daily work.
· have understanding of our stores, the meeting with the customer and its implications for product design.
· have experience of design, and a creative personality
· have some experience of working with product development
· natural ability for, or experience of project leading
