Our Company
The H&M Head Office is based in Stockholm, Sweden, where we design and develop our fashion collections for a wide variety of customers. Working at Collaborations & Special Collections within New Development
With these collections and collaborations, we want to surprise the customer; with the theme, the products and in how we present the collections. You will be an important part of bringing in new, fashion forward ideas to the team and make it happen. You will be part of planning and securing the best assortment according to analysis of most relevant trends of the moment. Here you will work with the whole assortment for these product groups and must be experienced in building fashion forward collections commercially. We look for you with a true sense for future fashion and innovative materials, with a deep understanding of these products and its trends. At Collaborations & Special Collections things change quickly and you must love fast changes and be able to adapt to meet the target goals.
Job Description
As a Product Developer for accessories at Collaboration & Special Collections, you will team up with a Product Designer and a Product Manager. Together you will handle various projects and work in close collaborations with different teams cross functional and setups for each project. You will be part of the product development of accessories, playing an important part in planning, creating and developing the best products from start to end. Your team will create the entire accessories collections which includes every possible type of product, from shoes to hairbands and everything in between. Finding and working with innovative materials and methods will be a key part of your work, always keeping sustainability at the core. You will be in close contact with both production offices and sometimes directly with suppliers and vendors, building successful partnerships and find new ways of working.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role we believe that you live and breath fashion and love to keep updated with the latest and upcoming trends. As a Product Developer, we think that you love to do business and create growth by offering the customer great products. A sustainability mindset is something that drives and excites you. You are a doer that makes things happen around you and with great communication skills. We believe you are a team player who thrive in a fast-paced environment and when given a lot of responsibility. Finally, you always have the customer in mind in every step of your work.
Minimum two years of experience from product development
Experience from product development of accessories and an interest to learn more
Degree within textile and/or buying
Always see possibilities, improvements, and simple solutions
Result-oriented and a business growth mindset
Strong salesmanship and commercial thinking
Team player

This is a full-time permanent position with placement in Stockholm.
