Main responsibilities
In this position you will manage the design, concept making, prototyping, and testing of automation solutions and products based on customer needs and input and ensure they meet the guidelines for standards and functionality. Your major duties/responsibilities will be:
- Designing and conceptualizing new automation solutions
- Perform engineering and quality analysis of designs and prototypes
- Developing and executing product automation testing protocols and documenting results including risk analysis of safety functions
- Identify potential suppliers
- Visiting suppliers, customers and research institutes
- Interact and coordinate with multidisciplinary and international product development and launch teams
Qualifications
To be successful we believe you have B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electronics engineering or similar and at least 3-5 years of experience from automation, electronical design and PLC-programming.. Knowledge in requirements management, design validation and robust design will be highly valuable as well as knowledge about function, modular and standardization methodologies and manufacturing techniques. You have proven experience from systematic project management both in design and industrialization. High level of proficiency in virtual project platforms such as Teams, MS Project etc. is a must. Experience in working in international projects and platforms is a merit.
In the position we can see a person with strong analytical skills and a genuine technical interest.You are motivated by creating innovation solutions on complex technical issues. You are analytic and structured, acting with a high personal drive. You also possess leadership competence, with the ambition and ability to lead a team of designers. You are a team player and enjoy sharing your knowledge with others. Communication skills and the ability to adjust to changes as well as to different persons are important as you will be working cross functional with different projects and nationalities.
