Product Documentation is a department within Volvo Penta Product & Solutions Development (PSD). We are responsible for the unique Volvo Penta PSD IT-systems as well as the IT-systems PSD share with Volvo Group. We are also responsible for support, quality assurance and training regarding the documentation of Product data in the PDM (Product Data Management) systems (KOLA, POS, CAD). Furthermore, the department has the responsibility for the 3D modelling process & the Creo CAD systems, creates Computer Generated Images and supplies drawings and models to the Sales system.


This is how you could make an impact
You will work as an IT-System leader for our unique Volvo Penta applications VPCS and ProPlan/Protime. These are applications that are tailor made to support Volvo Penta Product & Solutions Development. VPCS is an application that supports projects with part development and prototype/material management. ProPlan/Protime application is used for Project budgeting, financial follow-up, and time reporting for our development activities.


You will also be responsible for other applications that we share with the rest of Volvo Group. You will work close to our users and the development teams in India and Poland.


Who are you?

Probably you have worked with system management, worked in close contacts with users, and you have the ability to be the gateway between users and developers. We work in an agile way with close interactions between all involved parties.
