Job Summary:
Solution Area Packet Core (SA PC) is responsible for Ericsson´s industry leading Packet Core portfolio and solutions and is the foundation for Ericsson’s technology leadership. PDU Packet Core is focused on securing our ongoing market leadership in Packet Core domain, taking a leadership position in 5G, and continuing to invest for sustainable technology leadership within a highly competitive market. Reporting to the Head of Product Development Unit Packet Core (PDU PC), you will be responsible for leading our Product Introduction, Deployment & Support team, developing and evolving the strategy for customer engagement as “one Voice” for Packet Core. The Head of Product Introduction, Deployment and Support is the global responsible for enabling Customer Centricity in R&D, managing introduction of Packet Core portfolio and executing Packet Core customer support. You will also be expected to drive and ensure collaboration with other units within BDGS and Ericsson, especially towards Services and MAs.

Job Responsibilities:
You will lead a team responsible for customer engagement strategies, customer support, product introduction and customer centricity support.
You will work closely with the Head of SA PC, Head of SL PC, and other units in BDGS – especially the Service Area Networks team, securing that we execute towards our customers as one Ericsson.
You will be expected to work closely towards our MAs and customer units as well as Ericsson’s customers, supporting that our e2e flows are executed in customer centric, data driven and DevOps manner.
You will be responsible for developing, managing and executing a global site strategy in line with the overall PDU PC site strategy. This also includes ensuring the overall competence, resource strategy, leadership and viability of the site including partners.


Product Introduction, Deployment and Support is responsible for key functions listed below:
Solution Area Packet Core Customer Interface handling
Engagement with services enabling working together deploying common frameworks as one Ericsson towards our customers.
Overall Customer Engagement Management from presales to escalations (HW&SW)
Customer Unit/Market Area Lead functions
Packet Core Portfolio Customer support and program management
Product Introduction function supporting all programs to take full e2e responsibility
Engagement with Services preparing competence development assets
Go To Market function for new products
Technical deployment support
Secure analysis & Feedback on Performance in Field (HW/SW)
Support to presales – Trials/Proof of Concepts/Demos


Qualifications & Skills Requirements:
Demonstrated hunger to win for the customer.
Experience in customer engagement and support functions on senior level.
Strong knowledge and experience of R&D processes.
Responsive and structured while remaining calm during high pressure situations.
Ability to communicate in a structured and repeatable way to all levels of management in and outside Ericsson.
Extensive track record in establishing and developing contact networks into the MAs and customers.
Willingness to drive change across the full Ericsson customer information flow.
Be the execution arm of the customer within Ericsson – holding the wider BDGS organization to the same standard as our customers hold us.


Leadership Requirements:
Solid experience as a senior leader of complex technical organizations in a multi-stakeholder environment
Strong cultural awareness and experience of leading multi-site organizations or projects
Communication and collaboration skills are key. Transparency, listening skills and ability to motivate and inspire people.
Courageous leadership, providing clear direction and setting appropriate standards of behavior through uncompromising integrity.
Driving and embracing innovation and change with a collaborative mindset.
Strong financial and strategic thinking with an analytical, structured and result oriented approach
