Our Exciting Opportunity
At Board Power Digital Section we are now looking for an experienced and hardworking object leader. As an object leader you will lead a dedicated design team responsible for crafting the discrete board power solution for Ericsson's Baseband products.
You will work in close cooperation with other design areas, such as Microwave, Radio, PCB and thermal design. In your daily work the role will include collaboration with global production sites and other design centers globally.
We foresee a deep interest in creating winning teams where you will teach, mentor, challenge and develop individuals. You will foster a creative and learning culture. Status will be reported both to main projects and line management.
We utilize the latest design and simulation tools in order to develop our world class products. We keep track of new technology, methodology and design techniques, ensuring that our design activities are kept at a world class level. All work is team based with experienced and dedicated individuals. We believe that our employees are the key to our success!
You will be a part of a positive and engaged section where your role will be:
Planning, leading and coaching the development team to ensure implementation and proper delivery of power solutions according to our stakeholder needs.
Participating in the resource planning and competence development activities.
Driving continuous improvement of the product development process.
Ensuring the translation of business and technology strategies to efficient product development.
Be active in cross-sections initiatives, improvement programs and strategical work.
Planning and support efficient handling of the products through the product life cycle.
Ensuring good quality and release of all products.
To be successful in the role you must have
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Team leadership experience within Hardware design
B.Sc or M.Sc degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Good technical understanding.
Capability to manage multiple projects.
Proficient in English language.
Ericsson Product knowledge and experience would be considered as an advantage.
