Our Exciting Opportunity:
Interconnect design team have global governance of embedded and external interconnect portfolio, we are responsible for more than 30.000 interconnect product. The interconnect section have long experience within the interconnect domain, we work globally with different Ericsson design site and govern the design responsibility for different interconnect solution into Ericsson Radio systems. We are collaborating with more than 20 suppliers. Products within interconnect domain are enablers for end-to-end connection between Ericsson host units (e.g. Radio and BB).
We are now looking for a team leader/project manager to secure Ericsson technology leadership and make sure we have the right scope, quality, time, and cost for product development. This position is for Interconnect Design 2 department, this position offers you an opportunity to combine leadership skills and broaden your technical skills with the development of products within the site interconnect portfolio.
The site interconnect team need to consider not only for one product but the alignment for all site material connected with Ericsson Radio systems, for the current portfolio but also the evulation of future Ericsson portfolio.
The team is working closely with the product line (SPM), to understand the high-level requirement that needs to be broken down to interconnect level and provide both opportunities and limitations from a design and solutions perspective.
To secure site interconnect technology leadership and the next generation of interconnect team has proficiencies in:
Power cables such as cupper and ALU cables.
Optical technology and optical cables
High speed and signal integrity
EMC and PIM
Qualification on component and system level
What you will do
Provide leadership and mentoring, enabling the team to perform and deliver against the agreed targets
Drive early technology activities and evaluate future technology
Project management tasks such as planning, tracking activities, budgeting, resource management
Responsibility for the overall site interconnect activities
You will bring
Education: M.Sc. in physics, electric engineering or equivalent.
Min years of experience: 5
Leadership experience from technical projects or RnD organizations
Driving- the ability to influence team members to perform at their very best, and empower them to deliver above expectations.
Capable to take fact based and timely decisions
Taking full responsibility for own and team performance
Coaching & Mentoring Skills
Negotiation Skill
Formulating strategies and concepts
