Product Development, Mechanical Engineer

What will you do as a Product Developer at R&D?
As a Product Developer in our R&D organization, you will mainly work with our cylinder and key related products and you will take the product from idea, via our in-house production to product launch. You will be involved in all stages of the product's lifetime and you will closely cooperate with many stakeholders and functions across our organization. This cross-functional work will give you great opportunities to strengthen your own skills within product development.
You will design, update and revise product related documents such as 3D CAD models, drawings and other relevant R&D related documentation. You will also participate in quality increasing activities and work with continuous improvements in cross-functional teams.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who has:
Technical education within mechanics, mechatronics or other relevant education or relevant professional experience. Experience from work with similar products is a plus.
Worked in 3D cad preferably SolidWorks, both modelling and creation of drawings with approx. 5 years of experience
Familiar with G&D tolerances and tolerance analyze
Experience of PLM systems
Experience from production, preferable CNC and transfer machines
Experience from development of precision-engineered parts in high volume
Power of initiative and ability to work in group or independently when necessary
Analytical and problem solver mindset with a structured way of working
Fluent in English with a good understanding of written and spoken Swedish
