Job Description
As Product Director you lead our assortment teams towards our strategic direction and build a customer offer that is truly relevant to our customer at all times, commercial and on brand. You are a key player in Monki’s leadership team and brand board and collaborate cross functionally to enable the best customer experience in all channels and markets. In the role you are responsible for securing both the long-term direction as well as reacting to the changes here and now.
Your main responsibilities include:
Being a key player to secure profitability, growth and sustainability for the overall brand.
Steering the collection development and purchasing strategy to ensure we stay true to our brand and that we excite our customer.
Developing solutions to meet our customers’ needs and demands of today, as well as to anticipate future expectations.
Co-creating and driving a clear strategy for the full assortment, as well as implementing an efficient and reliable way of working within your organization. This includes keeping a close collaboration with supply chain/production to ensure a qualitative and efficient product lifecycle.
Taking an active role in the brand’s leadership team to steer and support Monki to reach short- and long-term goals.
Developing, supporting, and driving your organization to ensure execution of the brand vision and your strategy.

Have extensive experience from building assortment in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
Have extensive fashion retail and online experience.
Are genuinely driven by building a great collection by always having the customer top of mind in everything you do.
Have a proactive and agile approach to work tasks and responsibilities.
Love to work hands-on in daily operations as well as driving methods and processes to develop the fashion industry of tomorrow.
Have a strong focus on sustainability.
Have a visionary leader approach that focuses on building culture, people and results.
Have an extensive experience of the full supply chain flow – end to end.
Additional Information
This is a permanent position and it will be located at our Head Office in Gothenburg, Sweden. Please note that we are an international company, and our internal language is English.
