Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.Scania has taken the strategic decision to set up a 3rd industrial hub in China - a project to develop and implement full-scale assembly operations has been initiated within Scania Production & Logistics. One part of this project is the establishment of a Chassis Assembly plant. We are now looking for a Global Product Preparator for the Chassis Assembly to join the project team to put industrial processes and organization in place!
In the project, you will be a part of an exciting journey to create a full-scale production plant in China. Starting from zero, the project team is responsible to design, build and launch production in a completely new factory.
Job description
You will work with change management for local and global preparation and treat deviations in the structure when appeared, avoiding them to reach the production line. You shall update the tasks in the MES system according to the process and structure requirements. You shall keep the CU mapping up to date and informed through the organisation. You align the changes with the automation team for steps and conditions set up and when necessary work with the IT department for change requirements.
Your profile
Competence:
• Familiarity with systems such as MONA, FRAS, OAS, CO Sub, and the drawing archive will be advantageous for this role.
• Familiarity with the Global and Local preparation process will be meritorious for this position.
• Comfortable using Windows and Office, adept at using a computer as a work tool, and possessing excellent spoken and written English skills.
• During this work you should be able to lead cross-functional discussions and handle the demands of the project.

• Calm, stable, and controlled in stressful situations. Maintains a realistic perspective on situations and focuses on the right things.
• Quality-minded, you are meticulous and well aware of goals and quality standards, and place great importance on living up to these.

Your location
The China project team (TC) is based in Södertalje. However, flexible work location may be applied to reflect competencies needed and deliveries in the project. Business trips abroad and to China must be considered.
