Do you want to work with the future driveline within heavy transport?

The Scania Transmission and e-Mobility production plant is today producing gearboxes, axles and electrical components to the European truck and bus market. To us sustainability is at the core of everything we do and the projects we run aim to drive the shift towards sustainable transport.

You will be part of a project team working with industrialisation of upcoming electrified and axles components. You will be the product specialist focusing on understanding product details that need to be considered in the production flow. You will work in a cross-functional environment; in close collaboration with a project team on one end and other product engineers as well as R&D on the other.

Your assignment will among other things consist of:


• Understanding assigned product characteristics to ensure compatibility between assembly requirements and intended production process. Covering several products within the production flow.
• Support stakeholders in the project team on questions concerning how to assemble the product, ingoing parts, ergonomics, equipment, test needs and quality perspectives.
• Collect and provide input to stakeholders on design updates and process needs.
• Contribute to development and improvement of processes and way of working.

Your work will have a high impact on target fulfilment in short- and long-term for both the Production Unit and Scania as a whole.

Is this you?

We value you personality and provide you the prerequisites to succeed and develop within this role. However, we see it valuable if you do recognise yourself in the description below to really succeed.

You are good at planning and structuring your work in combination with a flexible mindset. You enjoy working with details while you are also skilled at visualising and communicating from a high level perspective. You enjoy team work but also find joy in working on your own at times. Problem solving comes natural to you and when things do not go as planned you tend to see opportunities rather than obstacles. Working in both a local and international environment you express yourself well in writing and speech in both Swedish and English. You have skills working in Catia or a similar 3D-modelling software.

You have a university degree within Engineering and/or working experience within a relevant area. Experience from working with product development and production is meriting.
