Job description
A Product Engineer has design responsibility for specific components or parts for example driver's desk, interior lighting, seats, side wall paneling, luggage racks etc.
The Product Engineer will work both internally and externally; it is anticipated that there will be direct technical contact with the supplier.
The overall purpose of the Product Engineer - Interior Lighting is to lead the development of all interior lighting including lighting in the cab and driver's desk.
The concept development of this particular product encompasses working across developing requirement specifications;
-Sub-supplier tender technical approval
-Detail design supervision
-Product verification approval
-All external technical input for integration purpose (interfaces, weight etc.)
Qualifications
The successful candidate must have a degree qualification or equivalent with a minimum of three years relevant experience.
Fluent in Swedish and English language is essential.
It is highly desirable to have relevant expertise and knowledge or education in Lighting and/or Illuminating Engineering, Interior Architecture and Ergonomic Design.
