Description
The Centrifugal Separation Team within Tetra Pak Processing Components AB is responsible for product management, development of technical solutions and global support to market companies. Centrifugal Separation is a unique area where mechanical excellence combined with deep knowledge of separator applications is a key to our leadership in liquid food processing technology.
As a Product engineer within the Centrifugal separation team you will work structured with quality and product issues.
You will work independently as well as a part of the team with support and technical issues. When working with our market companies and customers you will be part of a broad network.
Up to 10% travel is included in the position.
Main responsibilities
- Problem solving and claims handling
- Participate in quality work
- Drive product safety work
- Keep track of and implement legal standards
Qualifications
To be successful in this position you must have a structured way of working and a strong and wide technical interest. You are a person with a strong personal drive and you need to be committed to quality improvement activities. You also need good listening and analysing skills in order to understand and react on the customers' problems. You enjoy problem solving, even on a detailed level.
Beside this you are good at building effective relationships with others and have the ability to adjust to the situation.
We believe you have a University degree in Engineering or equivalent combined with approx. 5 years relevant experience. Experience from mechanical equipment and/or processing technologies, preferably from the fields of construction, production or development, is a requirement. Additional experience from work with product safety, legal standards and the food industry will be seen as a merit. You are also skilled in SAP.
A very good command of English, both written and oral is required.
